Cantabs Beer Festival
Our 4th annual beer festival: local beers and ales, food and live music at Sedley Taylor Road, with the whole club and the neighbourhood invited. The best day of the year that doesn't involve a scrum.
The 2026 festival has been and gone. Thanks to everyone who came, poured, played and cleared up.
A proper day out
The club's biggest day off the pitch. Everyone is welcome: members, neighbours, families, and anyone who has ever wondered what a rugby club looks like when nobody is playing rugby.
Cask and keg from Cambridgeshire brewers. Last year's boards poured Brewboard, Papworth, Buntingford, Ampersand, Wylde Sky and Pastore, with Cam Valley cider alongside.
Street food through the day, the Garden Bar for cocktails, G&Ts and prosecco, and live acoustic sets into the evening.
Entry is free. At the gate you pay a small deposit for your festival cup and buy tokens, which every bar takes. Hand the cup back for your deposit at the end, or keep it as a souvenir.
The clubhouse and grounds at Sedley Taylor Road, off Long Road. There is no parking at the event, so walk, cycle, get dropped off, or take a bus along Hills Road and stroll from there.
The next club event will appear here when it is announced. In the meantime, there is always training on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and rugby on Saturdays.
